Amy Dobbin is a Senior Solicitor within our Child Protection Practice Unit. Amy qualified as a Solicitor in 2017, having graduated from the University of Strathclyde. She trained in Child Protection, criminal defence and family law. Since qualifying, Amy has focused on and specialised in Child Protection and family law.

Amy has extensive experience in appearing in Courts and Children’s Hearings throughout Scotland, representing clients in respect of a wide range of issues ensuring their views are heard and legal rights protected. This has included seeking and obtaining emergency Court orders at short notice.

Amy has a particular interest in assisting families and children, representing both adult and child clients. Conscious that those clients often seek assistance in times of crisis, Amy is sensitive and pragmatic in her approach to assisting her clients.
