Inquiries are promised into those who have died of Coronavirus through their work or in care homes.
Livingstone Brown Director Stuart Munro is a member of a Law Society of Scotland working party which is looking at measures to restart the justice system.
He is proposing a way that the courts can use technology to improve what is often a painful and lengthy process for those who have lost loved ones.
The idea has been picked up by the Scottish Daily Mail (“Call for Digital Death Inquiries”) and the Times (“Call for video hearings into deaths”).
